2100. RULES

CIF Sections are authorized to use USGF rules for compulsory routines; all optional routines must follow National Federation rules.

2100A. FIRST CONTEST

First contest allowed is first Thursday of September, First practice date is established by counting back from the first Thursday 16 days (counting Saturdays and Labor Day).

2101. DAYS PRACTICE

There must be fourteen (14) days of team practice prior to the first contest. Each athlete must have had ten (10) days of practice prior to the first meet.

2102. NUMBER OF CONTESTS

A school shall be limited to eleven (11) contests per season. Playoff contests are excluded from this computation.

1. Maximum contests per week is two (2), excluding tournaments.

2. Maximum number of tournaments is two (2).

3. Tournament shall count as two (2) contests.
