  EXPLAIN IN DETAIL under the following criteria that which would qualify the applicant for a lifetime pass.

31B.  CIF Lifetime Passes

1. The Central Section’s Lifetime Passes may be issued to those individuals who have contributed significantly to athletic activities.

2. Lifetime Passes may be issued when an individual meets the criteria and is approved by the CIF Executive Board.

3. The minimum criteria for a nomination of a Lifetime Pass shall include one of the following:
1. An individual who has coached for a minimum of 20 years.
2. An individual who has been involved in the Central Section’s athletic activities for a minimum of 20 years.
3. An individual who has served in a combination as an athletic coach, as an athletic director or as an administrator for a minimum of 15 years with specific services to CIF.
4. An individual who has served a minimum of 10 years in athletic activities, including a minimum of two terms on the CIF Executive Board.
5. An individual who has made an unusual or outstanding contribution to the Central Section or State athletic activities.

4. Procedure
1. All nominations must be by formal application.  League Presidents will send applications with league approval to the Central Section Commissioner no later than April 1^st for review.

a.        Applications will be available upon request from the Central Section Commissioner or one of the Area Commissioners.

2. Lifetime Pass Screening Committee will review and make a final recommendation to the Executive Board.
3. The Executive Board will vote on recommendations at the April meeting.
